Widgets and WordPress

Blogging has become an outlet for creative design and expression. I recently went through my usual platform critic phase and wanted to know the differences between using WordPress and Blogger as a blog platform. I came across several other authority blogs with posts about why you should use one or the other, but you never really know until you actually dive in and play with everything. Below is a promo using two platforms just to get a widget that I want on my WordPress blog without being forced to purchase and run the blog on a web host. It sure seems a lot easier to use Blogger to add widgets and code such as embedding Imeem, Slideshows, Google Calendar, or even Gigya widgets.

Now back to researching my widgets, blogs, web hosts, domain forwarding etc.
